Maliki is determined to end Erbil- Baghdad tensions: Minister 
Iraqi transportation minister announced Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is determined to solve disputes between the central and Kurdistan Region governments.
Hadi Ameri, visiting Erbil as Maliki’s representative to talk to Kurdish parties and lines, told Xendan that the meetings have been positive and Maliki wants to end tensions.
“Nouri al-Maliki is serious to from committees to end disputes among them oil and gas law and specifying provinces’ borderlines,” he said, underlining that a time will be set to solve tensions.
Ameri accepted rifts among Erbil and Baghdad but stressed disputes should not cut bilateral ties.
He further underlined talks and negotiations should be continued until concrete results are achieved.
