U.S. crude jumps above $ 99 in light of concern from the Middle East unrest

The price of crude oil jumped U.S. to the highest level in nine months, surpassing $ 99 a barrel on Tuesday as investors worried about the unrest in the Middle East and signs of scarcity of supply in the Midwest region of the United States. 
The decline in Libya's production of oil by one-third after closing several protesters while oil fields provoked demonstrations against President Mohamed Morsi, Egypt's concern about the stability of the entire Middle East region. 
The futures rose for Brent crude for delivery in August to $ 104 dollars a barrel at the settlement after rising 0.8 percent on Monday. 
The U.S. light crude for August delivery $ 1.61 to $ 99.60 a barrel at the settlement after being approached during trading level of $ 100, its highest level since September 2012.
