Iraq heads the international disarmament conference

Iraq seeks to be a factor of stability in the surroundings of regional and international away from everything that would increase tension and instability in the world , and in this regard, said Zebari, according to a statement received "morning," a copy of it, respect for the Government of Iraq of its obligations under international treaties and conventions relating to disarmament and non-proliferation, and based on what was stated by the Permanent Constitution of the Republic of Iraq. said Minister of Foreign Affairs to the procedures Iraq to join all major treaties to disarm disarmament and non-proliferation, having fulfilled all the requirements and provisions of Chapter VII in relation to disarmament and weapons of mass destruction. 
stressed Zebari that the president of Iraq for this international conference came in recognition of his status new in the international community and its credibility in the fulfillment of its international obligations as a responsible and active role in the international community.
