The future of Iraq / special senior diplomatic source revealed, on Sunday, and secret bargains pressures exerted by America and France on the Iraqi government to change the positions of the Syrian crisis and stand next to arming the opposition, voting against the outlying areas of Iraq from Chapter VII. It is scheduled to vote on the UN Security Council, next Thursday, the decision to remove Iraq from Chapter VII and entry to the sixth item, after Baghdad had fulfilled all its obligations with Kuwait. Said the source, who declined to be identified, for »the future of Iraq», that «the United States and France promised to support Iraq and take it out of Chapter VII in the event of non-stances entirely from the Syrian regime and supported the efforts of arming the opposition, as well as spare any help up in secret to regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The UN Security Council issued a year (1993) Resolution No. (833) which provides for the demarcation of the border between Kuwait and Iraq, and the extended length (about 216 km), and the application of the decision in part by the former regime to the deduction of large swathes of Iraqi territory and annexed to Kuwaiti territory , included the territory in terms of Safwan and Umm Qasr area in since the mid-nineties became a whole within the limits of the State of Kuwait. The source added that «these countries conditional on the Iraqi government to announce a formal position clearly similar to the positions of the Arab Gulf states and Egypt your sever ties with the Assad regime in exchange for supporting directed Iraq out of Chapter VII of the United Nations and the Security Council during the next few.
